My 2 yr. old shih tzu was just diagnosed with high triglycerides and needs a diet change. I want to know if I should take him to a specialist (and if so, what kind), or if you could recommend a good animal nutritionist.

was the blood test done when the animal was fasted for 24 hours? if not, repeat the test
