  1. Hi Jean,

I do have a suggestion you might consider that does not have as much to do with diet, etc. as it does with other important things for your dog.

We’ve had several pet owners report truly wonderful results for their senior pets when they used the services of a good animal communicator who is able to communicate to their dog or cat when they had questions, including questions regarding quality of life in their senior years. Animal communicators can ask how he’s doing, what he’d like help with, anything he’d like you to know in particular.

You’d be surprised at what our seniors have to say and you can also let him know anything you’d like at the time too.

While this suggestion isn’t for everyone, we’ve had some good reports back from pet owners who have used a communicator’s services.

And you might also check with your vet on home euthanasia services if this is an option that you are considering in the future. Adding trauma to their last days can be avoided with this option.

The other thing I’m going to suggest is, when the time is right, check with your veterinarian to see if they do in-home euthanasia as a way to avoid more trauma for your boy.
