My cousin has feed all of her dogs and cat raw meat. She feeds them hamburger, sardines, tuna, eggs and other meats. Is it normal?

Unbeatable Cat Dandruff
Friday, April 27th, 2012My cat has crazy bad dandruff. I tried bathing her a while back but she freaked out and pooped in the tub. We brush her at least once a day. She didn’t used to have a problem, and we haven’t made a sudden change in her diet or environment. Can someone help me? It’s gross.

The cats eat the dog food too, but I was told it’s OK for cats to eat dog food, however not vice-versa, because of the high protein content.

Cat with chronic constipation

I adopted “Buddy” from the SPCA about ten years ago and I cannot remember a time when he was not constipated.
His stool is like little round stones and he has always had a little bit of blood on his bum.
I bought him a water fountain, and with encouragement he is drinking a lot more water.
He has been on a dry cat food from the vet, good stuff, about $80 for a very large bag that lasts for more than a year as now he is eating mostly wet cat food.
Problem, he eats a lot of ” Whiska’s Treats”, which I fear is not helping with the problem. How do I stop him from eating so many of them?
I also have him eat wet catfood and a lot of his meals are with gravy from Fancy Feast.
How can I help him get over this chronic constipation that I know is causing him a lot of pain?

Monday, November 14th, 2011I have an older cat, shes 12, who has a very touchy stomach. She’s been this way since she was a kitten. If she eats too much or something disagreeable, she barfs it all back up. She’s also very picky so the prescription foods she has available she won’t eat.
Any suggestions?
