Why is my cat drinking too much water than usual. Help!

Thursday, January 23rd, 2014

I have 2 year old cat. He is in and out of the house. Lately, my  cat is drinking almost 1.5 cups of water per day. The only reason I can think of is that it is cold outside and with the heat on, my apartment is very dry. Could be the lack of humidity the reason for his thirst? Or should I be more concerned that he has a health problem.  Please help!   – James

I got my cat neutered and he is still aggressive?

Saturday, January 11th, 2014

I got my 16 month old male cat neutered because he started spraying and is very aggressive towards my female cats. I have no other male cats. I got him neutered last week and he is still acting aggressive towards my other cats, chasing them around and not leaving them alone. Will he eventually stop this now that he’s neutered?

Thanks.

I believe my cat has an oral tumor! Please help!

Thursday, October 24th, 2013

I believe my cat has an oral tumor. In the past 2 weeks the bump under her chin has grown 3x the size. And I just noticed that she lost a tooth and her other teeth are turning sideways. She has also been drooling a lot of blood. As well, losing a lot of weight. So is here anything over the counter type of medication I can give to her to help her ease the pain? What are some ways to help with an oral tumor in a cat without having surgery?

Please help! – Kristin

Kitten with the Cat Flu

Sunday, September 1st, 2013

I have had a kitten for about a month and she is now 5 months old. We bought her off a breeder and she had the cat-flu pretty bad with coughing, sneezing and she still hasn’t gone.

We have taken her to the vet, about 2 weeks ago, and he gave us some antibiotics. She has finished them all but she is still sick! I don’t know how to make her better. How do you help a kitten with the cat flu?

Thanks,
Faith

My young cat has been diagnosed with cancer

Saturday, August 31st, 2013

My 1 1/2 age young cat has been diagnosed with cancer.  It is either leukemia -not feline-or lymphoma. I will know by the end of next week. I had already started her on essiac and a blood system booster a few days ago. I have now added immune strengthener drops. What else can I do for her. Can holistic treatment get around having chemo?  Please advise.

Cat over grooming himself

Saturday, June 29th, 2013

My long haired cat always over grooms himself in the summer and he makes his skin go red and have bald patches. We’ve took to a vet about and nothings wrong with him. He hasn’t got fleas or anything.  How do I stop my cat over grooming himself? How do I stop him from making himself go bald. Any ideas plz  🙂

Thank you.

My kitten that has diarrhea

Thursday, June 13th, 2013

My 2 month old male kitten has diarrhea.  It just started.  He’s already had his first 3 vaccines and shots.  Adopted him from the SPCA.  I was wondering is there any kitten or cat foods that are especially designed for kittens with diarrhea?  He has been moved around a lot like from the shelter to my house so I’m thinking stress is what triggered the diarrhea.  He’s been drinking water which I was told is a good thing.  He hasn’t been OVER DRINKING though. Please help.

Thank you.

Air bubble on my cats stomach. Help!

Friday, May 3rd, 2013

My cat has some little air bubble in his stomach that when I touch, it is soft and will move a bit.  At some point it will go away and come back later. Does anyone know what this could be? Is it harmful to my cat? Should I be worried? Should I get him checked? Please help. — Marian
