Helping pet owners get health help For their pets

I adopted a persian cat with terrible matted fur.

The mats on the sides of her body and down her legs are similar to an inch and a half thick, at least, and of huge size – each about the span of my hand. I called the groomer and they won’t even endeavor to prep her. I additionally called the vet and they weren’t even certain that the groomer who works there would shave her. What would it be a good idea for me to do? Should I attempt to trim her hair so I can see what I’m working with and afterward shave the matts?

Please help.

Wrap your new feline in a warm towel.. warm will calm her then uncover to reveal a spot you are going to deal with.

Cut every matt in a few pieces.. on the off chance that you can slip the scissors between her body and the matt do this and afterward cut outward.. in a few distinctive spots.. at that point the matt will begin to loose.. Begin with the most effortless zone first.

Do this a little at once and each one time you will be able to work a little more.. no since in simply trimming her hair down.. she could go into shock.

I would also suggest that you take her into Pet Smart, and see if they would be willing to groom her. Just let them know that you adopted her that way and see what they can do.

    Goodluck Shah!
