I have 3 mice and two dwarf hamsters in separate cages and was wondering if there could be any health problems in connecting their cages so they could live together? They get along fine when I have them sitting in my hands or when I let them run around in the bath tub. They don’t fight or even play fight. I have 2 Critter trail cages and I can easily connect them. I thought it would be fun to experiment but wanted to make sure that combining two species in the same environment wouldn’t cause health problems. Thanks!

NO! I promise you… since they are different breeds and well different rodents they will kill each other because each one has it’s own living style and are both dominant. That’s why its so hard just to have hamsters (male and female) live together. Hopefully that helped.
