One of my cat’s eyes is dilated

I noticed it randomly that my cat is blinking with only one eye and the one that is not blinking is really big and fully dilated. The eye that’s blinking is cloudy and I am worried. I’m going to be taking him to the vet asap but I just need my mind at ease. Please help.

Thank you

Zam, Cloudiness in an eye can mean cataracts and an eye that stays fully dilated usually means that it has gone blind. If it does turn out that your kitty has lost some or all of its sight, please know that many blind cats live a full and happy life. For now, take your cat to your vet for a check up. I hope this helps. Good luck.
