I found a bird that was lying on the ground, presumably injured. It was in a state of shock, as it tried to fly away but couldn’t. I took it home to try to nurse it back to health. Is it possible? Should I just let it outside and let nature take its course.

Me, being an animal lover, I would nurse it back to health. But I think I would take it to the vet first to see what I could do. Be careful, birds might have an illness that could be passed on to humans and be harmful, but then again, I could too.
