I have had arthritic tests for my dog which are negative, but every now and then he cannot seem to get up. He cannot seem to move his body freely, and appears to be in pain.
What could this be? Should I get neurological tests??

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009My beagle has been lame in his back leg for over a month. X-Rays showed very little. It could be some arthritis is his knee. He is 6 1/2 yrs. old.
Dermaxx did not work so we now have Rimadyl and it seems a little improved after one week but no where near what I think is better.
Is acupuncture something we should try next?
