		<description><![CDATA[Get him to a VET! And don&#039;t try to extract the thorns or barbs yourself or you&#039;ll end up hurting him more and possibly making the wound worse. Porcupine quills have barbs, like fish hooks, on their ends and you can pull off quite a chunk of flesh if you don&#039;t know what you are doing. OUCH! And yes, barbs are light colored like wood shavings. Let a vet handle it, please. Poor kitty.
