In honor of the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man<\/a>, Google replaced its traditional logo with an interactive Pac-Man doodle<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

For people who missed the game, this was entertainment of the highest order. For others, the Pac-Man doodle was just a distraction, plain and simple.<\/p>\n

After having the game up for several days, Google went back to it’s familiar logo.\u00a0 And some were not happy with the change.\u00a0 They wanted Pac-Man back.<\/p>\n

“We’ve been overwhelmed \u2014 but not surprised \ud83d\ude42 \u2014 by the success of our 30th anniversary Pac-Man doodle<\/a>,” Google VP Marissa Mayer noted in her blog.\u00a0 So Google being Google unveiled a permanent Pac-Man site, which is fun and addictive and entirely optional.<\/span><\/span> If you are one of those who loved Pac-Man and want to play the game online, go to google.com\/pacman<\/a>. At that URL, Pac-Man fans will be able steer their little yellow avatar around that small arena until their eyeballs detach from their heads.<\/p>\n

And if you have an iPhone you can download the Apple iPhone version of the game and choose from Pac-Man and Ms. Pacman in the iPhone App Store.<\/p>\n

You can now play Pac-Man forever.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
